Member of the Management Board

Matya Schachter is a member of the Management Board of Edge and serves as the Chief Investment Officer of Accord Family Office, Edge’s largest shareholder. Matya serves on the Investment Committee and Data Analytics Committee of Edge. Prior to joining Edge and Accord, he invested capital for Yeshiva University (NYC-based endowment), Battery Global Advisors (Boston-based family office serving the venture capital industry), and Harvard Management Company (Harvard University’s endowment). Matya started his career trading corporate credit for Susquehanna International Group (SIG), a global quantitative financial trading firm based in Philadelphia, PA. Matya earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from MIT, and is a CFA® charter holder. Matya lives in Newton, MA, with his wife and kids, and where he volunteers in the community and is perennially disappointed by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
